The pain is because of weakness of quadriceps and hamstrings muscle.
Next Steps
You should consult the nearby Physiotherapist as he may help in providing pain relief by use of modalities and mobilisation. He may help you with exercises for strengthening of quadriceps and hamstrings. Before consulting the physiotherapist you should get the x-ray of bilateral knees both AP and lateral view.
