Hello, I am looking forward to do keto diet. Want a diet plan. Vegetarian. I usually experience hair loss on keto ( which supplement am i missing?) Weight: 72 kgs Height: 5'7 Want to loose atleast 15 kgs Thank you

Keto diet is high fat low carbs diet. It is basically a 4 week plan and one can be on keto diet for maximum 3 months not more than that continuously. For vegetarian good to follow high fiber low fat diet followed by detox diet. Ask me directly for customized diet plan for you.

Weight loss can be achieved in a healthier manner by making some diet as well as lifestyle modifications. For weight loss, Avoid outside food. Have only home cooked meals with plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. Drink plenty of water. Have your dinner early and keep it light. Exercise regularly. Get proper sleep. Don't use any special diet for weight reduction. It has many side effects. For reducing weight follow three main things like healthy diet, exercise and brisk walk morning and evening. Take high fiber food in ur diet. Add more fruits and vegetables in ur diet. Small and frequent feeding should be included in your diet. Avoid junk and oily food.

Ketogenic diet is been used for treating Epilepsy or seizures in Hospitals like John Hopkins USA  since many years.  In the recent past due to the increasing rate of overweight and obesity medical community is looking in to the effectiveness of using keto diet for fat loss.  Our body has two main fuel sources  glucose and ketones.  When we are eating a normal high carbohydrate  diet body releases energy through the glucogenic pathway by breaking down foods to glucose. When you are on a keto diet, you are training your body to use fat as a fuel source instead of glucose. In the absence of glucose, stored  fats breakdown using the ketogenic pathway and release ketones.   These ketones are then used  for energy..This is the basic science behind a ketogenic diet. A true ketogenic diet is comprised of fats 80% , carbohydrates 5% and protein 15%.. You can get very good fat loss when you are on a ketogenic diet.  But most people are not doing it correctly.  Mild ketosis will not help you very much in losing weight.  'Starvation ketosis' can be very dangerous as well.  Most of the patients with uncontrolled diabetes goes in to a state of diabetic ketoacidosis which is very dangerous due to the high glucose levels in blood.   Here body is not able to use glucose due to insulin resistance or lack of insulin, so the fat breakdown for energy and release ketones.   You have to keep your body in a state of 'Nutritional Ketosis' to get the desired effects.  When you are in ketosis, your breathe will have a fruity odor and you will have ketones in your urine which can tested with ketone testing strips. Yes..ketogenic diets are good for fat loss.  But the long term effect of using ketogenic diet on our health is not studied so far.  When people  follow ketogenic diet in an unsupervised non scientific way, it can be very dangerous to your cardiovascular health.  Using ketogenic diet for a period of 3-4 weeks can help you lose 4-6 kilograms if followed correctly.  Once you lose the weight, you can maintain the weight with a normal  balanced diet and physical activity and can repeat the ketogenic diet in 4-5 month intervals if further weight loss is desired.
