Iron and Ca supplement
How long should we take iron and calcium supplement after C section and exclusive breastfeeding? Currently I am prescribed Hemfer and Lithohenz. But didn't mention how long the supplements is to be taken.

Calcium should be taken for 6 months after delivery..... Till exclusively breastfeeding.... Ideally iron should also be taken for 6 months but since it causes side effects in many so you can stop after 2 months

Calcium supplements to continue till you are breastfeeding Iron can be stopped if your haemoglobin levels are more than 10
