Clean the wound under running tap water with soap. Even if it's a small wound, you should definitely get Anti rabies vaccine and Tetanus shots. You might also get Antibiotics depending on the wound. But you should definitely go to a hospital as soon as possible for the treatment.
Next Steps
Wash the wound under running tap water with soap (immediately after the bite). Go to a hospital for Anti rabies and Tetanus Vaccination.
Health Tips
Kindly don't use turmeric or any other herbal medicine, beacuse it may cause infection.

Since you were bitten by a monkey, it’s important to act quickly. There is a risk of infections like rabies, which can be life-threatening if not treated.
Next Steps
You should immediately start the rabies vaccination on days 0, 3, 7, 14, and 28. If the wound is deep, you may also need rabies immunoglobulin (RIG). Make sure your tetanus shot is up to date and take antibiotics like amoxicillin-clavulanate to prevent infection.
Health Tips
Hydrophobia or other nerve-related symptoms can occur if rabies is left untreated, but vaccination prevents this. Clean the wound thoroughly with soap and water and seek medical care without delay. Early treatment saves lives.

Hello Sir, After a monkey bite, you need to start the rabies vaccination schedule immediately along with a tetanus shot if not up to date. If the wound is severe, rabies immunoglobulin may also be required. Monkey bites can also spread other infections, so proper wound cleaning with soap and water is very important. There is no risk of herpes from a monkey bite — the main concern is rabies and local wound infection. Please do not delay medical care. For free consultation, save my number and you can contact me on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine.

The most important concern after a monkey bite is rabies. Monkeys can transmit rabies, especially if the animal’s rabies status is unknown. In India, monkey bites are also considered high-risk for Herpes B virus (herpes simian B), though human infections are exceedingly rare and mostly reported in research or laboratory settings. General wound infection risk is high—cleaning and antibiotic prophylaxis may be indicated Consult to me on Practo if you need additional help.
Next Steps
Clean the wound thoroughly with soap and running water for at least 15 minutes. See a healthcare provider immediately for vaccine administration and evaluation. Monitor for signs of infection (redness, swelling, pus), fever, or neurological symptoms (which may indicate rabies or Herpes B virus).
Health Tips
Rabies is almost always fatal if not treated before symptoms develop, so do not delay vaccination. Herpes B virus is rare in India outside of primate research settings, but any fever, headache, or neurological issues after a monkey bite should be reported urgently. Antibiotic prophylaxis should be considered to prevent secondary wound infection
