Ways to help yourself through depression and anxiety: 1. Exercise: Either it is walking/running/swimming/ or yoga. Or go hit the gym,it is also a great way to help you meet new people and make new friends. It makes you feel happier, more relaxed and less anxious. You may also feel better about yourself, which boost your confidence. 2. Practice Meditation & listening to your own breathing. It is other way of reducing stress. 3. Mental fitness: Same like your body needs exercise, your brain too needs exercise & training to work well, after all it is just a part, like any another part of the body. But it is not so simple to understand. Give it a challenge. Try to solve puzzles/sudoku/crosswords. Do solve some logical questions. 4. Enjoy yourself: Enjoyment is not just hanging out/ having fun with others. Everyone has their own way of it. Do what makes you happy. 5. Dwelling on past experiences: well, everyone makes mistakes after all we are humans..Don't regret about it,learn from it.Keep your mind open. 6. Listen to soft relaxing music: of instruments like flute, piano, violin. I personally like piano. It makes you feel good. 7. Practice positive self-talk: Simple rule, Don't say anything to yourself that you wouldn't say to anyone else. Accept the way you are, accepting yourself is the only way to overcome low self-esteem. 8.Overthinking: Overthiking is the misuse of imagination. "Less thinking, more living" Boredom is the main reason for overthiking. Instead, Try Change of the routine Go out doors Take up a new hobby Learn new skilks Keep yourself busy 9. Know who You are!!!: Yes, know about yourself.....Explore yourself, know your real worth, recreate yourself. Have some quality "ME" TIME!!! 10. Eat & drink right. 11. Have a good tight sleep. 12. Detach from social media: Don't spend much time online.Social media is a junkie to brain. It is making people unsocial. 13. Have a talk with your buddies:Maintain a good healthy relationships with fellow humans. Don't hang out with party poopers/ debbie downers. Talk with someone who makes you feel good and alive, who will make you forget about all atleast for a moment. Those friends can be your pets also; best friend, furry friend. And one more thing, Atleast have one older friend. You can learn a lot from them because their experience is of your age. Thinking about the past and being regretful and depressed about it ; Thinking about the future and being anxious is not good. Live in the moment, appreciate the beauty in every activity every second of the day. " Here and now," Hope this helps.

Hi, It sounds like you are experiencing significant stress and anxiety, which are manifesting as physical symptoms such as sleep disturbances, sweating, and a general sense of unease. These physical responses are common when the body is under prolonged stress or anxiety, as it triggers the "fight or flight" response in your nervous system. It's essential to address both the psychological and physical aspects of what you're experiencing. Consider taking steps to manage your stress, such as practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing exercises, mindfulness, or gentle yoga, which can help calm your mind and body. Additionally, establishing a consistent sleep routine, reducing caffeine intake, and creating a restful environment can improve your sleep quality. If these symptoms persist or worsen, it's crucial to consult a healthcare professional who can provide individualised support and explore therapy or potential treatments to help you navigate this challenging time. Remember, it's okay to seek help, and addressing these issues now can lead to healthier coping strategies and improved well-being in the long term.

t sounds like your body is signaling that it’s under significant stress, which can happen when emotional challenges begin to manifest physically. The symptoms you’re describing—lack of sleep, sweating, waking up abruptly, and increased unease—are common responses to prolonged anxiety and stress. While these sensations may feel alarming, they are your body’s way of trying to cope and communicate that it needs support. This is not something you have to face alone, and with the right steps, you can address these symptoms and regain a sense of calm and control.
Next Steps
Track Your Symptoms Keep a simple log of your sleep patterns, physical symptoms, and moments of heightened anxiety to identify triggers or patterns. Incorporate Calming Practices Start daily breathing exercises and grounding techniques to help regulate your body’s stress response. Create a Restful Environment Establish a calming bedtime routine with dim lighting, soothing music, or a warm shower to signal your body to relax. Seek Professional Support Consult a therapist for tailored strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and visit a doctor if physical symptoms persist or worsen. Focus on Small, Manageable Changes Begin with simple steps, such as dedicating 5 minutes daily to self-care or relaxation practices, to build consistency.
Health Tips
Prioritize Rest Without Pressure: Instead of forcing yourself to sleep, focus on creating a restful environment. Dim lighting, calming music, or a warm shower before bed can signal your body to relax. Avoid Overloading Yourself: It can feel tempting to push yourself to "fix everything" at once. Start with small, manageable changes, such as dedicating 5 minutes a day to self-care practices. Beware of Negative Self-Talk: Be gentle with yourself. It's easy to fall into patterns of blame or guilt, but remind yourself that anxiety is a natural response to stress, not a reflection of your worth or capability. Limit Stimulants: Avoid excessive caffeine or screen time, especially in the evening, as they can exacerbate restlessness and disrupt sleep.

Consult a psychiatrist as well as psychologist. The psychiatrist will give medications that will reduce or manage the physical symptoms. Psychologist will counsel to figure out root cause, help you vent out feelings and you will learn coping mechanisms to take your life in a more positive direction.

Hi... These are all psychosomatic symptoms. This is how our body and mind responds when we are avoiding to address some issues at the conscious level. Such issues try to take release through the subconscious mind while we are asleep, causing these physical symptoms. Stress and anxiety is a response to what you are repressing. Consider taking therapy, usually such symptoms go away within 3-4 months of weekly sessions. You can see recovery within 6-8 sessions. Complete recovery requires addressing underlying issues from the root which takes time, i.e., 6-8 months to 1-2 year. Depends from case to case.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. CBT along with Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling is required.

The combination of increased anxiety, physical symptoms like sleep disturbances, sweating, and unease could be your body's way of reacting to the stress you've been under. Stress can affect both your mental and physical health in a lot of different ways, and it can be especially intense when it starts to manifest physically. Have you been able to pinpoint any specific stressors that might be contributing to this heightened sense of anxiety and discomfort? Sometimes talking through what’s been going on can help identify patterns or triggers. It might also be helpful to consider stress management techniques like mindfulness, deep breathing, or even physical activity, which can sometimes provide relief. Have you tried any coping strategies yet?
Next Steps
Consult a clinical psychologist.
