If previously using, why did u stop at all. The dosage can be modified but the medicine cannot be stopped. If u would have continued, then this spike would have never come and damaged the internal body. Kindly consult with me on 94 two six eight six 78 nine six.

Were you asked to stop taking the medication or you discontinued it yourself? Whenever there is a BP reading of more than 160 above or even more than 100 below, Make sure you recheck your BP again after 15 to 20 mins along with proper rest in the opposite Arm, use correct method to record it. Do not record your BP within a short Duration of exercise, long walking, after any strenuous activities following consumption of caffinated drinks like tea or coffee. Before recording calm your self with deep breathing. Keep recording within atleast an interval of 30 mins till reading is near normal limits. Any BP reading of more or 180 above and more or 120 below, recheck, of still same, visit a nearby hospital or clinic. Irrespective of the reading, if there are any complaints of sudden headache, blurring of vision, difficulty balancing, clumsiness/ difficulty in using/ weakness/ tingling or shock like senstaion in hands, arms, legs, face or anywhere else, irregular heart beat, chest pain, nausea vomiting, fainting episodes or dizziness, immediately consult a docotor in nearby clinic or hospital. If you are not on regular medication or have discontinued the medication yourself, for now keep record of your readings of atleast 3 times a day for 3 to 5, report it to a general practioner or physician, and before restarting the same or different medication as will prescribed by your concerned doctor, will require a group of investigations. If you are on regular medications, make sure you continue it as prescribed, keep recording of your BP readings at least of 3 times a day for 3 to 5 days, and then consult your doctor, which will help in deciding the furthur management plan of changing or adding or altering dose of the medications. Along with this, opt for lifestyle modification in form of exercise and diet changes like limiting salt intake to less than 1 to 1.5 tsp per, any other changes.

you cannot use telma or any other bp medicine for single high bp recording because the bp has to be recorded and monitored carefully. you mentioned that you have used in past could you tell why, is there any history of anu condition or medicine usage
Next Steps
measure bp 4 times a day for a week, if it is still high then consult a physician for medication
Health Tips
try to reduce salt intake in your diet, decrease stress if you are experiencing any!!
