So it's obvious your mind will run through anxious or worrying or overwhelming thought throughout and cause negativity in day-to-day life.

I completely understand your concern. It's very naturally to feel restless during stressful time. Try to spend just five minutes to do some breathing exercises to reduce your anxiety. There is no need to fix a perfect time for breathing. You can do this even when you are working. Jus breath in for 5counts, hold for 5counts ,breath out for 5counts.
Secondly try to record your thoughts and feelings flashing while you are not calm. It says a lot about your stressor factor.
