Focus and anxiety issue during exam
I am a student preparing for a stenography exam scheduled for 29th June. While writing dictation, I experience mental blocks, loss of focus, and performance anxiety. My hand sometimes freezes, and I make mistakes in outlines due to nervousness. I am looking for a light, short-term solution (preferably non-addictive and without causing drowsiness) that can help me stay calm and focused during practice and the actual exam. I have already tried herbal options like Ashwagandha and Brahmi, but they have not been very effective. Kindly suggest a suitable medicine or supplement that can help with focus and anxiety related to exam pressure. Sleep is normal otherwise, and I do not have any other medical issues."

I agree with Dr. Myle Muralidhar. Please get evaluated properly before resorting to using non-evidence based drugs. We have plenty of options to manage such anxiety states, both situational and chronic. Please don't self-medicate with herbal or ayurvedic medications without doctor's discretion as some formulations could have been adulterated and may cause irreversible hepatic injury or other serious health concerns.
Next Steps
Please consult Psychiatrist in person or online for further evaluation and management.

It is performance anxiety which is common during exam times. If it happens only during the exam times, supportive treatment is enough. But if it is persisting daily during preparation also, you need appropriately treatment. We can't prescribe medication in the queries
