Don’t take triphala or any other powders to get relief over constipation
I have seen many pts who are consuming triphala since 10 15 years regularly
Mode of action of triphala -The gunas, or qualities, of Amalaki are heavy and dry, and both Haritaki and Bhibitaki are considered light and dry it will cause dryness indirectly as it will relief constipation
It’s cause more dryness in your intestines and constipation will turns to chronic constipation
Better to avoid I never prescribe any powder for constipation to any pts
Better to take Gandharv Hastadi tail as it’s lubricates your intestines and breaks down the mala (stool)
