Hello,
Fasting gives rest to our digestive system & every bit of the energy in our body is utilized for the process of regeneration of tissues, healing, repair, detoxification and building immunity.
Fasting when done the "right" way under guidance will prevent from the weakness or other health issues that may arise when done the incorrect way. A personalized diet session is recommended for you as it will take into account your lifestyle, routine & other additional information that will allow you to understand how to fast without compromising on the nutrition during Ramadan.
Avoid fried foods, refined flour & its products, sweets etc. Have balanced meals when you eat that is pre-dawn meal & the meal when you break fast after sunset. Include protein rich foods like milk, curd, eggs, chicken etc in your meals. Do not overstuff or overfeed yourself when you break the fast. Drink enough water before the fast begins and ensure to sip water continuosly after breaking the fast till you go to bed to avoid dehydration.

Fasting is good for the body, while fasting the body tries to revive ,repair and builds up the energy. The digestive fire gets ignited in a proper manner so as to perform it's duty in the remaining part of the day.
Fasting also helps to use the stored energy and fat is burnt to get the energy. So any excess formed and stored energy gets used and there is less incidence to be overweight. Also after fasting eating shd not be voracious ,only limited and apt amount of food shd be intaken.
Hence needs a strong will to fast and maintain the body fit and healthy.

Hi!
Fasting is shown to have beneficial effects in all organs of the body, as it triggers a detox process. This also helps to improve immunity and digestion. When done correctly, the symptoms of weakness and dehydration can be minimised and controlled.
Eating high protein foods , lots of fresh fruits and easy to digest - simple meals before you start the fast helps to maintain energy levels during the fasting period.
Also, avoid eating big quantities of food as soon as you break the fast , you can split the meals and take a light dinner as usual.

Health Tips
Do not eat oily/deep fried foods in large amounts, do not take over-the- counter multivitamins/health supplements, avoid sugary drinks and spicy foods
Research studies are now pointing towards beneficial effects of fasting. However, it should be well executed under guidance and should not be extreme. In Ramadan, people have sufficient eating hours in which they can eat upto 2 to 3 meals and hydrate themselves to go hungry for the rest of the day when the fast is observed. If done in the right manner, it can have some positive effects on the body.
