Hi Your query is right Just after childbirth and c section dieting should npt be very strict. Follow a small regime to reduce belly fat to some extent by tying a waist band and doing crunches 20 sets into 3 times twice a day Eat recommended quantity of dry fruits and water filled fruits like watermelon, guava, cucumber mid morning and as a post lunch snack after three more months slowly start intermittent fasting along with the prescribed diet plan

Intermittent fasting can cause weight loss but so does a healthy portion controlled meal without any window period.Intermittent fasting  is not sustainable and is not advised if you have any hormonal issues. If you are prone to acidity then it may trigger it. A healthy  diet  with a disciplined lifestyle and strength training is the key for weight loss.

It is common to experience weight gain after undergoing C-section due to hormonal changes. Now that you are willing to lose weight focus more on consuming the right foods rather than starving yourself.  Intermittent Fasting does lead to weight loss but if you are looking for long term sustainable approach then it will not help you in the long run. Guidelines to keep in mind: - Long fasting gaps can lead to increased acidity, bloating, or gastritis if your stomach remains empty for long hours. - Skipping meals usually leads to nutrient deficiencies which will affect your recovery after pregnancy. - Not having meals on time will lead to increased cravings throughout the day. It’s not appropriate to skip your breakfast as it is the first meal of the day which helps keep you energized.

Hi Please start with a 10-12 hour fasting window to see if it works for you. Starting with a 16 hour window may not suit everyone one. You can only have water or black coffee (may cause acidity) in the fasting window. Once you eat or drink anything else, it breaks the fasting.
