Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) after each loose stool. Plenty of fluids and a light diet (rice, banana, curd if tolerated, khichdi). Avoid spicy, oily foods, alcohol, and soft drinks. If there is significant cramping, an antispasmodic may be considered after evaluation. Consider a probiotic for a few days. If diarrhea is troublesome, stool examination may be needed if symptoms continue beyond 3–5 days.
