Have pcos .doc put me on metformin
Haven been taking metformin for pcos since last Nov. Since then periods have been coming evry 45 days. Lost weight from 80 to 71..I stopped metformin in august and that month was my last period. Since thn I dint get my period. Do I have to continue metformin .how long can one be on metformin

Hi, metaformin is normally given by doctors to treat PCOS. And you have to  continue for life long  and  if you stop , your period will be irregular , you will put on weight.
