My gum bleeds during brushing of teeth from last few months and now I can see minor blood in the morning as well when I wake up from last 2 weeks. Any suggestions or home remedy. I have no other symptoms like cough, fever or pain or problem in eating.

Hello, Thank you for your question. Bleeding gums — especially during brushing or waking up in the morning — is most commonly due to plaque and tartar buildup along the gum line, causing gingivitis (gum inflammation). The good news is, this condition is reversible with timely care. 🔍 Possible Reasons: Plaque & calculus (tartar) deposits irritating the gums Improper brushing technique Hard bristles Gaps in oral hygiene habits Sometimes linked to vitamin C or K deficiency, but rare in absence of other symptoms
Next Steps
1. Visit a dentist for a professional cleaning (scaling & polishing) This removes the calculus that cannot be cleared by brushing alone Will stop the bleeding from its root cause 2. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush Brush twice daily, gently at the gum line in circular motion 3. Rinse with warm salt water Mix 1 tsp salt in a glass of lukewarm water Rinse for 30 seconds twice a day – helps soothe gums 4. Use chlorhexidine mouthwash (0.2%) Twice daily for 1 week, but only on dentist’s advice 5. Floss regularly Removes food particles between teeth that brushing misses
Health Tips
You mentioned you don’t have fever, pain, or eating issues — which is a good sign. Most likely, this is early-stage gum disease, and with timely cleaning and care, it can be completely reversed. You are most welcome to visit our clinic at Poladpur or Birwadi for a painless scaling procedure.

Hello sir Gum bleeding is usually caused when there is inflammation present in gums This inflammation is caused due to calculus deposition ( yellowish hard layer formed at the junction of tooth and gum region) When this layer starts depositing in gums the gums become irritated and start to bleed So would suggest you to get cleaning/ scaling done instead of using ointments and toothpastes which are going to give you temporary relief.
Next Steps
scaling
