Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician. Your case has been allotted to me. I understand your concern. Joint pains with weakness, loss of appetite, and mild brain fog can have several underlying causes ranging from post-viral fatigue or vitamin deficiency to thyroid or inflammatory issues. Your hemoglobin of 13.4 is normal, and the low Blood Urea Nitrogen (4.99) simply indicates good hydration or mild nutritional imbalance, not kidney disease. 1. Advices Ensure adequate protein intake include eggs, paneer, lentils, and curd in your diet. Sleep 7–8 hours regularly and maintain hydration (2.5–3 L water/day). Light stretching or mild exercise daily helps reduce stiffness and fatigue. 2. What to Monitor Whether the joint pains migrate (change location) or stay fixed. Any morning stiffness lasting >30 minutes. Weight loss, persistent tiredness, or fever. 3. Management You can start with a B-complex and Vitamin D supplement once daily for 2–3 weeks. If symptoms persist beyond 10–14 days, get the following basic tests done for clarity: ESR & CRP (for inflammation) Vitamin D3 & B12 levels Thyroid profile (TSH, T3, T4) These will help identify whether it’s post-viral weakness, nutritional, or autoimmune-related. 4. When to Consult a Doctor Immediately If you develop persistent fever or severe joint swelling. If appetite loss worsens or you lose weight rapidly. If weakness progresses or affects daily work. Every patient’s situation is unique. For accurate diagnosis and complete recovery, it’s important to discuss your full history and test results in detail. 👉 You can reach out to me directly for this case, and also connect with me in future for any medical consultation. I am available on Practo or on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven for a one-on-one consultation, where you’ll receive: • A personalized treatment plan • Safe medicine adjustments (if required) • Quick follow-ups to track your recovery Take care, wishing you good health. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

Hello 👋 Thank you for sharing your concern — I understand how uncomfortable it can feel to deal with multiple symptoms like joint pains, weakness, and brain fog at such a young age. Let’s go through this step-by-step. Your symptoms — multiple joint pains, loss of appetite, and fatigue/brain fog — suggest a few possibilities: 1. Post-viral or autoimmune cause – conditions like early rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, or autoimmune thyroid issues can start this way. 2. Vitamin deficiencies – especially Vitamin D3, B12, or low ferritin can cause joint discomfort, fatigue, and mental fog. 3. Metabolic or hormonal imbalance – sometimes seen with thyroid disorders. About your reports: Your Hemoglobin (13.4) is perfectly normal. Your Blood Urea Nitrogen (4.99) is slightly on the lower side but not worrisome — it often happens if you’re not eating enough protein or are mildly dehydrated. What you should do next: Get a few additional tests: Vitamin D3, Vitamin B12, Thyroid profile (T3, T4, TSH), ESR, and CRP. Increase hydration and protein intake (milk, eggs, dals, paneer, etc.). For now, you can take a balanced multivitamin and mild pain relief if required. Once these reports are reviewed, we can decide if this is nutritional, post-viral, or autoimmune — and begin proper treatment. For a detailed review of your reports and to create a personalized recovery plan, you can message me directly on WhatsApp — nine three two six zero two zero five three six. I’ll help you identify the exact cause and guide you on how to fix the fatigue and pain naturally and effectively. — Dr. Shivam Mishra, MBBS Internal Medicine & Rheumatology Care | Ex-Registrar, Cooper BMC Hospital, Mumbai
