It depends upon the exact location of your wisdom tooth, whether it needs to be removed or not. Also other factors need to be taken into consideration. It may or may not cause problem in future. You can visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for his/her opinion on the same.

Hello, I am Dr. Kapil saroha from Kapil Dental Clinic and implant center. Wisdom tooth usually requires extraction or removal. But the decision depends upon the clinical condition. Usually it doesnot happen that that there is increased salivation but you should get it checked by a dentist.
Hello,
You can maintain good oral hygiene to avoid infections ( Pericoronitis )around your impacted tooth.
If you are not having pain , decay or any sort of problems with your impacted tooth it is less likely that excess salivation is due to your wisdom tooth.
Next Steps
If the impacted tooth is having decay, or if the tissue around the tooth seems to be infected then it is advised to seek consultation.
Health Tips
Can use any fluoridated mouthwash to maintain good oral hygiene along with healthy brushing habits.
