Fitness after c section
I had Csection 3 months ago..i need to lose 10 kgs to reach prepregnancy weight..im having low energy levels as i ve been on bedrest and cud not be active in pregnancy due to complications... hence i can excercise only from now....now due to lack of sleep i take rest at daytime and i dont have much energy to go out for walk...im on treatment with Thyronorm 25mcg for hypothyroidism hence its necessary for me to maintain ideal weight..pls suggest few ways by which i can regulate diet and do simple exercises at home to reduce weight gradually...without affecting lactation.

Hi, Congratulations on your motherhood. Stay fit n healthy. After knowing your concern, and also you are having hypothyroidism, reducing weight n getting back to your pre pregnancy weight might take little more time. But you need to be patient n stress free at this time of lactation. I second the opinion of Dr. Gupta, she already suggested you a wonderful diet plan n regime.  I would add a few more points to it. Do your stretching n few yoga along with walking. Among foods keep a check on intake of sugar n high carb items. Have small n frequent meals, n keep your self well hydrated. Most importantly enjoy your motherhood, keep your baby mostly on breastfeeding, that too helps you in losing weight fast.

Hello dear you definitely need high energy level for your self as well as for your baby so do a few things regularly on daily basis. 1st .take proper healthy balanced diet divided into 6 meals with some fruits, 4 serving of vegetables, 1 ltr milk, 8-10 seving cereals and 2-3 serving of pulses or non veg like boiled egg etc.avoid sugar take jaggary to add iron and other minerals in your diet. 2nd keep proper hydration 3rd  sleep at least for 7 hrs 4th  start doing daily 30 mnts walk in morning as well as in evening, slowly slowly you will get your stamina back and become healthy. 5th  do some stretches and relaxation exercises also.
