My father is having throat infection, fever (100.2) , severe bodyache , mild dry cough. He is allergic to penicillin and sulfa group. So cant take amoxycillin. He is taking dolo 650 for fever but fever returns after 5 hrs also not helping in throat pain.pls advice which antibiotic he can take ?

He can take tab azithromycin 500mg one daily for 5 days.
Tab combiflam one every 8hours for 3 to 4 days after meals.
Tab cetrizine 5 MG one morning and one evening for 5days.
Gargles with hot water and povidone drink hot fluids.
Wbc count is raised.
Tab clavum625 three times a day after food for ten days. Zerodol sp3 times a day after food for five days.
Montek lc one at night for five days.
Betadine gargle add 1ml solution in hot to warm water gargle it before meals two times.
