this appears to be a left ovarian simple cyst, approximately 5â6 cm, and the report does NOT describe suspicious features such as septations, mural nodules, calcification or hemorrhagic components.

A 6 cm ovarian cyst does not automatically mean that surgery is required ,so please don't panic. It is a simple cyst and this fact is reassuring because some simple cysts can resolve spontaneously.
