"A one-month history of constipation combined with severe abdominal bloating is a clinical emergency known as Fecal Impaction. While aloe vera is often used for its soothing properties, the yellow sap (latex) found just under the leaf skin contains anthraquinones, which can be very irritating to the gut. Chronic use can lead to 'lazy bowel syndrome' or electrolyte imbalances that paradoxically stop the bowels from moving. Because your stomach is too sensitive for oral laxatives, we must bypass the stomach entirely to clear the lower intestinal blockage and relieve the pressure on your abdomen."
Next Steps
Immediate Rectal Enema: "Since you cannot take oral medicine, you must use a Saline Enema (e.g., Fleet or Electral). This is administered through the rectum and works by softening the hardened waste directly at the site of the blockage. This is the fastest way to relieve your bloating without irritating your stomach."
Health Tips
Hydration is Key: "Even if you cannot eat, you must take small, frequent sips of lukewarm water or coconut water. Dehydration is a major cause of hardened stool and will make the impaction much harder to clear."
Stop All Home Remedies: "Do not try any more plant-based gels, oils, or home 'cleanses.' Your gut is currently in an inflamed state and needs standardized, medical-grade intervention to recover."
Caution: "A month-long blockage is serious. Do not wait for 'natural improvement.' If the waste stays in the colon too long, it can lead to a 'perforation' (a tear in the intestine), which is a surgical emergency."
Red Flags: Seek Emergency Room care immediately if you develop persistent vomiting, a rigid/hard abdomen, or if you are unable to pass gas (flatus) at all.
