Dont go for cervical traction,instead go for hot packs and analgesic and soft tissue massage without use of any oil,go for stretching exercises and isometric

You should consult a Physiotherapist in person to take treatment in the clinic. Bedside traction is not advisable for your age until and unless severity of the condition is worse.

If the pain is severe and found any nerve compression in cervical region found in xray, then only take traction, otherwose just with IFT+US the pain can be reduced and later with exercises muscles can be strengthened.

First of all in ur condition nerve involved or not we don't know,there may be a lot many reasons for ur neck pain,try to consult orthopaedic or physiotherapist take proper assessment and treatment
