Get an xray done and get the tooth treated ......once the pain is relieved think of a cap....maybe a metal ceramic or zirconia ...depending on ur budget

Why there is pain? Need to find the cause for this pain with an x-ray and clinical examination... Go for capping after your pain is releived.... Once your tooth become asymptomatic go for zirconia cap which is the best one...
Firstly you should confirm by iopa x-ray. Is this tooth is fine or not, because your rct tooth is paining, it may be reinfected. After that you go for crown.
