Tooth Capping
I am very depressed with the current situation of dental treatment done at a reputed hospital in kalkaji. The reason for the discontent as follows: 1. I got RCT Treatment from the hospital which was okay no pain and roots were closed with no infection as per 1st doctor. 2. The capping was done with Ceramic profuse metal caps, In first the go the caps were so thick that they were not appropriately sized and uncomfortable in the mouth and had to be adjusted by grinding larger part of the teeth. 3. The cap was so uncomfortable that it was hurting the nerves and the doctor advised neuralgia and gave gabapentin but it was not fixed with that and after visiting another doctor and consulting with her she told to change the cap and revisited the treating doctor after resistance he changed the cap. 4. The caps that were placed broke the tooth , which never occurred bef
ore. My questions : How could we check the quality of the caps that are placed? Any reasonable dental doctor Del, Noida

Some dentists provide a warranty card with the caps as well. So you can look and ask for that. Plus more than the quality of cap, the way it is build is more important.
To get a proper occlusion is the utmost priority when getting a cap and that can be best given by a prosthodontist.

You can get a branded cap done like 3M or Densply.( With a warranty card). Also, you can change the type of cap according to the strength of the tooth (Dentist advised)
