Hi docs, what are the possible reasons for calf muscles pain apart from low vit d. I was low on D bt now 38 , still pain in calf,is their any nutrient im deficient or some other cause ? going homeo now since 3 months

In my opinion u need to still get ur vit d level better ..the value u told is in range value but not the sufficient value the suffient range is around 75.. apart from this u need to check ur vit b12 level it may also get pain in calf...start taking plenty amount of fluid intake in any form... approx 4 to 5 litres of fluid intake daily...get well soon take care...
Calf pain is mostly due to lumbar disc prolapse causing pain radiating from lower back,buttock ,back of thigh and calf region.please consult your orthopaedic surgeon. You need to take x-ray LS spine and MRI if required
Standing calf stretch
Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.
Hello there,,,,well there could be a number of reasons for calf muscle pain....it can range from simple electrolyte imbalance to a more complex vascular and embolic causes...also a proper assessment is required to see if any muscle wasting is there,,,any microtrauma or vascular insufficiency needs to be addressed properly through sonograpy.

Hello...... I can understand your problem.. Deep vein thrombosis could cause calf muscle pain on walking... Weakness is one the cause... If you have general body pain it's due to nutritional deficiency... Consult general surgeon once in nearest hospital.......
