I am 16 week pregnant and have to take calcium supplements daily. I always get acidity after taking it and i feel very pukish and uncomfortable. Can someone please tell me when and with food can i take it with to reduce the acidity?

to reduce Acidity take plenty of water, coconut water, sauna water, chilled milk and avoid fatty and fast foods items, Tea, coffee, red chilli etc.

Calcium is an alkali, which neutralises excess acid.
But side effects can sometimes occurs including gas , constipation and bloating
For acidity including in diet
1. High fiber foods :
Whole grain such as oatmeal, brown rice
Root vegetables like carrot, beet, potatoes
Green vegetables like broccoli, green beans
2.Alkaline foods add in diet
Banana, melons, cauliflower, fennel and nuts
3. Watery foods:
Celery, cucumber, watermelon, broth - base soups , herbal teas
Heart - burn home remedies:
1.Non - fat milk , low fat yogurt has soothing qualities and it’s healthy dose of probiotics ( which enhance digestion)
2.Ginger: aids digestion
Add in diet ginger tea ,and lemon water ( it’s high acidic) but few drops in water you relieve acidity.
