Broken root canal teeth during pregnancy
I had root canal for wisdom tooth,the cap was broken long back, there was no issue before pregancy but Pain is getting worse day by day after my 2nd month of pregnancy,With Doctor Advise I started taking Augmentin 625 and Dolo but there is no improvement Even after 3 days,since am pregnant with three months really worried about baby please suggest

Plz stop taking augmentin if there is swelling than take novamox 500 twice a day for 3 day with your gynecologist advice
Warm saline gargle 4 to 5 time a day atleast

You can check in any multi specialty hospital for dental appointment and get treated.

Hi,
My sincere suggestion would be with the consent of your gynaecologist, check if any Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon can treat you. Prolonged consumption of antibiotics and pain killers preferably to be avoided. Dental procedures can be performed once you enter your 2nd trimester, with the consent of your gynaecologist.

Pain is elevated while chewing or drinking..or any other aggravating factor..

Have total 15 tablets of augmentin duo 625. , Twice a day or thrice a day,after food.
With T. Rablet 20, once a Day, before food.
Dolo 650 is safe but in severe pain it's never of much use
No other drug is safe as these drugs
Maintain oral hygiene

Since it's your second trimester had it not been the ongoing covid pandemic then also any surgical procedure will be deferred by many dentist's can you elaborate bit more about the dosage of augmentin and dolo650.
Also if you any concerns about effect of medicine on your baby these meds don't have side effects on babies in womb you can speak to your gynecologist about your medicine concern as well.

Better to take consent of your gynecologist and then take antibiotics ,and if your gynecologist give consent then go for dental treatment to any dental hospital..dont wait for your pregnancy period over.
