-Persistent fatigue, weakness, chills, skin darkening, dry cough for one month and abdominal/leg pain require evaluation for endocrine, nutritional, infectious and other systemic conditions. - Skin darkening with weakness may indicate adrenal insufficiency, particularly if associated with low blood pressure, weight loss or salt craving.
Next Steps
-Consult a physician promptly for examination and blood pressure assessment. -Consider CBC, blood glucose, electrolytes, renal and liver function, TSH, and targeted tests for adrenal insufficiency based on clinical findings. -Evaluate the persistent cough with chest examination and chest X-ray as indicated. -Avoid starting supplements or steroids without identifying the cause.
Health Tips
-Maintain adequate hydration and balanced nutrition. -Seek urgent care for severe weakness, fainting, vomiting, breathing difficulty or worsening abdominal pain. Contact me anytime on Practo for further consultation

I understand that feeling tired and weak every day, along with chills, skin darkening, and a persistent dry cough, can be worrying. These symptoms can have several causes, and a proper evaluation will help us identify the reason and guide the right treatment. Please consult a general physician or internal medicine specialist soon, preferably within 24 hours. Your doctor may recommend blood tests, a chest X-ray, and hormone tests depending on your examination. Since skin darkening along with weakness can sometimes be associated with hormonal problems, your doctor may also consider checking adrenal function. Please seek emergency care if you develop severe weakness, fainting, persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, confusion, or difficulty breathing. Until you are evaluated, stay hydrated and avoid starting any medicines, especially steroids, without medical advice. With the right assessment, we can work towards identifying the cause and helping you feel better.

Hello, Your symptoms of persistent weakness, fatigue, darkening of the skin, chills, abdominal discomfort, and dry cough for one month require medical evaluation. Possible causes include anaemia, thyroid disorders, nutritional deficiencies, chronic infections (including tuberculosis), or hormonal disorders. Importantly, skin darkening accompanied by weakness and abdominal pain can occasionally indicate adrenal insufficiency (Addison’s disease), particularly if associated with low blood pressure or unexplained weight loss. These symptoms should not be attributed to vitamin deficiency alone without investigation.
Next Steps
1. Consult an internal medicine specialist. 2. Recommended initial tests include CBC, ESR/CRP, blood glucose, HbA1c, TSH, electrolytes (especially sodium and potassium), kidney and liver function tests. 3. A chest X-ray and tuberculosis evaluation are advisable given the cough lasting one month. 4. If clinically suspected, an 8 AM serum cortisol and ACTH test may help assess adrenal insufficiency. 5. Blood pressure, oxygen saturation, weight changes, and examination of the skin should also be assessed.
Health Tips
Maintain hydration, eat balanced meals, and get adequate rest while awaiting evaluation. Avoid starting steroids, antibiotics, or high-dose supplements without medical supervision. Seek medical attention if you experience severe weakness, fainting, persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, confusion, or low blood pressure, as these may indicate a serious underlying condition. Early evaluation can help identify the cause and guide appropriate treatment. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Your ongoing tiredness and weakness could come from anaemia, a thyroid problem, or a vitamin deficiency. These are common and usually treatable. Skin that's darkened over time is worth mentioning to your doctor too, since it can point to the same causes. Your dry cough and chills over the last month are most likely a separate, lingering infection.
Next Steps
Get a CBC, thyroid, and vitamin D or B12 test done to find the exact cause. See a general physician this week, since several symptoms together need one proper workup rather than treating each separately.
Health Tips
See a doctor sooner if you develop high fever, breathlessness, or the cough brings up blood.
