Don't worry, these levels are common and quite easy to manage. you can absolutely take Feromore XT..Since you have a sensitive stomach, take the tablet after a meal.
Health Tips
Do not have tea, coffee, or milk for at least 2 hours before or after taking the iron, as these can affect its absorption.Taking it with a bit of orange juice can help soak up the iron better.

Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician (Ex Govt Medical Officer at RML Hospital, New Delhi), and your case has been allotted to me. Thank you for sharing your reports in detail. I have reviewed them carefully. Interpretation of your reports Hemoglobin and CBC • Hemoglobin 12.3 g/dL → within normal range • MCV, MCH → normal 👉 No overt anemia Iron profile • Serum iron → normal • TIBC → normal • Transferrin saturation → normal 👉 Iron circulation is adequate Ferritin • Ferritin: 24 ng/ml 👉 This is LOW NORMAL / borderline low iron stores 👉 Not anemia, but iron stores are depleted Vitamin B12 • B12: 270 pg/ml 👉 Borderline low 👉 Can cause fatigue, hair fall, low energy over time Final conclusion 👉 You do NOT have iron deficiency anemia 👉 But you have: • Low iron stores (early deficiency stage) • Borderline B12 deficiency Your main question: Can you take Feromore XT? 👉 YES, you can take it and it is actually a good choice in your case Why it suits you • Contains iron bisglycinate → gentle on stomach • You already had GI issues with ferrous ascorbate • Also gives B12 + folic acid + zinc → covers all deficiencies How to take it • Once daily after food • Continue for 2 to 3 months • Then repeat ferritin and B12 Important tips • Avoid tea or coffee 1 hour before and after tablet • Add iron rich foods: – Green vegetables, jaggery, dates • Add B12 sources: – Milk, eggs, paneer When to recheck • After 8 to 12 weeks Important reassurance This is a very early stage deficiency, completely reversible. You have caught it at the right time, before anemia developed. For personalised plan (diet + supplement duration + fatigue recovery), you can reach out to me on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven. Wishing you good health and energy recovery. Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
