Recording blood pressure immediately after standing up, results in variations.Wait for a few minutes before BP is measured. However blood pressure reading of 140/90 is a stage 2 hypertension.your weight at 115 kgs contribute to a higher risk of hypertension. Monitor your blood pressure for few days,Start lifestyle modification, diet modification including salt intake restrictions, use fresh fruits and vegetables plus exercise daily for atleast 30 minutes.Consider getting the blood tests for lipids glucose level kidney function tests, liver function tests and thyroid function tests,a baseline 12 LEAD ECG.
