Hi. My mom suddenly has a black spot on inside of her cheek. I'm attaching a photo of the same. It is not going away. What's it about? We're really tensed.

I could see a small discoloration which is a pigmentation. May be a Nevus. But still u must consult an Oral Medicine expert advice who is a specialist in Mouth and Jaw diseases and cancer. Also keep observing for any changes like increase in pattern or color.Tc. U may Practo Consult elaborately.

It's melanin pigmentation.  Not to worry. If any  burning sensation associated with. Other it,  consult, oral medicine specialist.

Hi it looks like macule, don't worry unless it is causing you any pain or increasing in size.

Nothing to worry sir. It may be a hyperpigmentation of melanin. Its called a macule. Unless causing any discomfort do not worry
