Hello It can be because of bad matters or due to muscle tightness. You can start with checking ur mattress, whether its firmness is there or not. And than do correction of it., u can also use pillow under ur knees that will give good posture and stability to spine. With that a proper exercise regime for lower back can increase good sleep. And reduces pain.
Next Steps
Take advise from physiotherapy and get ur self evaluated to rule out any other issue and proper exercise protocol

The couch you are using is probably not plain, or it is not fit for sleeping. If you are having pain while you are supine (straight) that denote that you should first check your bed. Secondly if the the bed is good then place a foam roll or small towel in lumber region to maintain the lumber curvature. this will help you get rid of pain.
Next Steps
Back bending exercises or extension in standing
Health Tips
avoid prolong sitting

Your back pain could be due to week back muscles and sitting posture.
Next Steps
You should give hot water fomentation for your back twice a day for 15-20 minutes. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should do back stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance. You should avoid lying straight on your back as well as on your stomach, instead you can lie on your sides. Avoid prolonged sitting or standing. Avoid bending or weight lifting activities.
Health Tips
If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist for further evaluation and treatment either in person or through video call.

Full day sitting and in awkward postures leads to weakness and stiffness of your muscles of the back. But there is some movement happening when awake. While sleeping there is more inactivity and the stiff muscles get stretched when you move or are in awkward postures.
Next Steps
appropriate stretching exercises of spine

This pain is due to stiffness of your lower back in being straightened. Sitting for long periods without straightening is probably the reason. This would need mobilisation and exercises  which could help resolve the stiffness.
Next Steps
please do take breaks every 40 minutes or so.
Health Tips
visit a physiotherapist for further assessment  and treatment.
