There could be a different reasons for thigh pain depending on the exact location of the pain and the duration since the pain started
It could be either a referred pain from the pain or a localised tendinitis or bursitis which is causing the pain
Best option would be to consult a physiotherapist for a thorough evaluation and treatment
Based on the info, it sounds like a hamstring strain, definite diagnosis can be done in clinic and can advice if its permanent or temporary problem. Best to see physio therapist close to you.
Proper diagnosis is nt possible with the limited information. There are many reason for back thigh pain. use moist on the affected area for 15 min twice in a dat
Considering her age she is definitely suffering from lumbar spondylitis with radiculopathy.that generally happens because the disc space reduces with the age and occupation. And the symptoms may arise at back and can travel along the back of the thigh to toe. There may be tingling sensation as well.
Next Steps
Consult a good physical therapist and do the exercises. That is the only thing which is going to help and start it asap
Health Tips
Ask her to avoid sitting/standing for long hrs. No forward bending no weight lifting. Keep applying hot packs.
