Back thigh pain
My mother aged 63 years, having back thigh pain..the pain is more in night time. If she puts hot water on thighs the pain is less.. can anybody tell the reasons and solutions.. is it permanent or temporary nature?

It might be hamstring stretch which is causing pain, she should avoid long standing and weight bearing

There could be a different reasons for thigh pain depending on the exact location of the pain and the duration since the pain started It could be either a referred pain from the pain or a localised tendinitis or bursitis which is causing the pain Best option would be to consult a physiotherapist for a thorough evaluation and treatment

Considering her age she is definitely suffering from lumbar spondylitis with radiculopathy.that generally happens because the disc space reduces with the age and occupation. And the symptoms may arise at back and can travel along the back of the thigh to toe. There may be tingling sensation as well.

Hi The pain in thigh can be because of knee problem or it can be related to lower back
