The MRI report of your mother's LS spine indicates that she has anterolisthesis, which is a condition where one vertebra slips forward over the vertebra below it. This condition can cause compression of the spinal nerves, resulting in pain and discomfort. The report also indicates that there is disc compression on the nerve root at the L4-L5 level, which can further exacerbate the symptoms. Additionally, there is osseous spinal canal narrowing, which can further compress the spinal cord and nerve roots, leading to pain and discomfort. Lipo hemangiomas are benign growths that consist of fatty and vascular tissue. Although they are usually asymptomatic, they can sometimes cause pain or discomfort if they are large enough or in a sensitive area. Obesity can also contribute to back and hip pain as it places extra strain on the spine and joints. It is important that your mother receives proper medical treatment for her condition. Treatment may include pain management, physical therapy, and in severe cases, surgery to decompress the spinal cord or nerve roots. It is recommended that she consult with a spine specialist who can provide a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan tailored to her specific condition.
