I would recommend you to start with electro therapy to reduce pain followed by exercise therapy which includes back stretching and strengthening.
You should go to the clinic for treatment.
You can use L.S belt for back support while travelling.
Chiropractic and osteopathy treatment will help.
Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall.
Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily.
Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily.
Avoid bending in front.
Two weeks of treatment is required and the exercises will be shown must have to be done for atleast one month.
Avoid prolonged sitting or standing. Avoid forward/backward bending while sitting, maintain proper posture.
Wearing of LS belt will be helpfull while driving and hot pack twice a day will help relax muscles and gives relief from pain.
It's mild disc bulge. You will be able to drive once your pain comes down. Do Physiotherapy for about 1-2weeks, continue exercises for long time. 1-2 weeks of regular treatment should be fine. Avoid sitting for prolong duration, avoid bending and lifting weights.
