Hello Doctor,
Main 21 saal ki female hoon aur mujhe PCOD ki dikkat hai. Main weight manage karne aur gut health ke liye Dr. Vaidya’s Apple Cider Vinegar (Effervescent Tablets with Garcinia 500 mg & Pomegranate) use karne ke bare mein soch rahi hoon.
Kya PCOD ke saath yeh tablet lena safe hai? Isse meri hormonal balance ya periods par koi asar toh nahi padega? Yeh mujhe lena chahiye ya nahi, aur agar lena hai toh sahi dose kya hogi? Please guide karein.
Thank you!
I would not suggest this particular combination as a routine supplement for PCOD or weight loss.
Remember, PCOD can be managed effectively with the right nutritional approach, lifestyle modifications and appropriate medical guidance.
If you share your current weight, height, menstrual history and any medications you are taking, I can help guide you with a more personalised nutritional approach.
Next Steps
A few recommendations:
1. Avoid starting this supplement, consult a gynecologist for your PCOD.
2. If you have acidity, gastritis or acid reflux, Apple Cider Vinegar may aggravate your symptoms.
3. Do not depend on supplements for PCOD management.
4. Focus on a balanced, protein-rich diet, adequate fibre, regular physical activity, good sleep and sustainable weight management.
5. Get your blood glucose, lipid profile and other relevant investigations assessed.
Health Tips
This product contains Garcinia Cambogia (500 mg), which i would not recommend taking without medical supervision. Garcinia has limited evidence for weight loss and has been associated with rare but serious liver related side effects.

Apple cider vinegar tablets like this one are generally safe to try for most people, including those with PCOD, since they mainly work as a mild appetite and digestion aid rather than a hormonal treatment. They are unlikely to disturb your hormonal balance or your periods on their own.
Next Steps
The label itself warns these can cause bloating or loose motions in some people and may reduce calcium absorption, so stick to the label's recommended usage and watch how your body responds.
Health Tips
These tablets do not treat PCOD itself, so please consult your gynaecologist and keep following their plan for your periods and weight alongside this, not instead of it.
