I had anxiety issue from last 3-4 months and since from initial days i have started using nexito and Clonazepam.
Currently i am on only nexito 10mg from last 3 months.
In between, i had some hypertension issue due to stress for which doctor suggested me Inderal LA 20mg and i am using it from last 4 days. He said to use for one month.
Now i want to taper nexito 10mg and want to stop it. Since i am totally fine socially, professionally, personally.
Except some sort of thoughts and anxiousness at certain times.

It's a very very important query, at this stage most of the people admit the mistake of the sudden stoppage of medication , it relapse the symptoms and while improvement get into vain
You had more than 90% response or improvement, even it is 100%, your one Medication that is escitalopram should be tapered gradually in further few months, at the same time monitoring any reoccurrence of symptoms
You must discuss your queries with your Psychiatrist, the tapering plan will be mutually discussed, and continue some relaxation exercises along with Medication too
Stopping your medication can worsen anxiety. Medication needs to be tapered off gradually under professional guidance if at all you have achieved remission. Anxiety might be contributing to your hypertension as well. Consult a psychiatrist.
It’s good to hear that you’re feeling much better now. However, please don’t stop Nexito on your own. The improvement you’re experiencing is likely due to the medication, as such medicines usually need to be continued for a certain duration to maintain recovery and prevent relapse. The exact duration varies from person to person and should be decided by the psychiatrist after proper assessment. Stopping it abruptly or tapering without supervision may cause your symptoms to return.
Next Steps
I’d strongly advise discussing any dose changes with a psychiatrist before making adjustments.
Nexito will have to be tapered off under supervision. Although it is advisable to take antidepressant medication atleast 6 months after full recovery. Stopping medication early risks a relapse in the future.
