Hi, what you’re describing sounds very much like a health-anxiety/panic cycle—the racing heart, chest/arm sensations, fear of heart damage, repeated checking and Googling, and then increased panic and sleeplessness.
Your normal ECG, BP, sugar, cholesterol and other tests are reassuring. Try to avoid Googling symptoms/side effects and repeatedly checking your body, as this keeps the anxiety cycle going.
For the medication, don’t restart or stop it on your own—please discuss your concerns and side effects with the prescribing doctor.
CBT can help you break this cycle and reduce the fear of bodily sensations.

Likely anxiety/panic disorder, given recurrent episodes for 5 years, excessive worry about the heart, and recent panic with insomnia.
Normal ECG and blood tests are reassuring. However, new/severe chest pain with left-arm pain, breathlessness, sweating, or fainting requires urgent cardiac evaluation.
Your symptoms are more suggestive of anxiety/panic attacks with health anxiety than a heart problem, especially given the 5-year recurrent pattern and previous normal ECG and investigations. Panic attacks can cause racing heartbeat, chest/arm discomfort, fear of heart attack, poor sleep and excessive checking/reassurance-seeking.
However, chest pain with left-arm pain should not be automatically attributed to anxiety. If you develop severe/persistent chest pain, breathlessness, fainting, sweating, or pain that is new/severe, seek urgent medical evaluation.
Regarding Capinol 20 LA, don’t stop or restart medicines based only on internet side-effect information.
A psychiatrist can assess the diagnosis and choose an appropriate treatment; CBT is particularly useful for panic/health anxiety.
