Anxiety,Daily panic attacks,Racing thoug
Doctor, I've been having anxiety for the past several months. I experience panic attacks almost every day. During these episodes, I have racing thoughts, a fast heartbeat, and chest pain. The chest pain usually happens only when I'm anxious. The symptoms are affecting my daily life and work. I don't drink alcohol, coffee, or tea. I would like to know what is causing these symptoms and what treatment would help me.

Your symptoms may be consistent with anxiety and recurrent panic attacks, which can cause racing thoughts, rapid heartbeat, chest tightness/pain, breathlessness and muscle tension. However, chest pain should not automatically be attributed to anxiety, even when it occurs during stressful episodes. A medical evaluation is advisable to rule out cardiac, thyroid or other physical causes.
Next Steps
Consult a physician/psychiatrist or clinical psychologist for proper assessment. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), relaxation techniques and, when indicated, medication can be very effective. From a physiotherapy perspective, diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, gentle stretching and regular graded aerobic exercise may help reduce physical tension and improve regulation of breathing during anxiety.
Health Tips
During an episode, try slow breathing with a longer, relaxed exhalation rather than forceful deep breaths. Maintain regular sleep, meals and physical activity. If chest pain is new/severe, persistent, occurs with exertion, or is accompanied by breathlessness, sweating, fainting or pain spreading to the arm/jaw/back, seek urgent medical attention.

Good afternoon Your symptoms may be related to prolonged stress and an overactive nervous system. When the body remains in a constant “fight-or-flight” state, it can lead to panic attacks, chest tightness, rapid heartbeat, racing thoughts, muscle tension, and disturbed breathing. advice: focus on calming the nervous system through diaphragmatic breathing, mindfulness, meditation, gentle yoga, adequate sleep, regular physical activity, and spending time in nature.
Next Steps
However, because these symptoms occur almost daily and are affecting your quality of life, it is essential to consult a physician to rule out any underlying medical condition and seek support from a mental health professional.

What you’re experiencing can be very distressing, and anxiety-related panic attacks can cause physical symptoms such as a racing heartbeat, chest discomfort and difficulty settling your thoughts. The good news is that panic and anxiety are treatable. Since your symptoms are occurring almost daily and affecting your work and daily life, getting the right professional assessment and support can help you regain control and manage these episodes better.
Next Steps
Please consult a physician/psychiatrist for a proper assessment and appropriate treatment. If the chest pain is new, severe, persistent, or occurs with breathlessness, fainting, sweating, or pain spreading to the arm/jaw, seek urgent medical care.
Health Tips
During an anxiety or panic episode, sit comfortably and focus on slow, controlled breathing. Breathe in gently through your nose and slowly breathe out through your mouth, as if you are gently blowing out a candle. Keep the exhalation slightly longer than the inhalation and avoid forceful or very deep breaths. Regular relaxation practices, adequate sleep and gentle physical activity may also help manage anxiety symptoms.

Please maintain a sleep for 7-8 hrs , and if your sleep cycle is getting disturbed then try deep breathing exercises ( 10sec hold *10) or try a 15-20 min walk .Try to visit a homeopath ,bcz most of the allopathy medicine are addictive and they are not good for long terms
Next Steps
for stress management reduce your screen time, try reading books before bed or do any art work like painting, sketching, gardening or join any other sport ,if the problem still persist then a get blood test done it may be due to low vitamin D levels
