Why it is been said everywhere about almonds on internet and even in our families to consume soaked almonds in the morning after peeling its cover . As u know when we eat soaked one its oil gets diluted in water and we only eat raw almond which in my mind doesn't make sense . Can you please clearify my question as I am very curious to know why there is so much myth to contain soaked . If its been come out of nature like that why we cannot consume it like the way they are . Also please tell me other foods or dry fruits as well for tension , anxiety and stress relieving .

Outer layer of some nuts such as almonds is hard, and contain some some anti-nutrients to protect it from insects and pests. When we consume these without soaking they can interfere with the absorption of certain mineral present in the nut. Therefore it is advised to soak almonds, and some other nuts/legumes. Also, soaking neutralize pesticides, if used on the nuts.

Gud morning u can have it in dry roasted form,it's not recommended for all to consume by over night soaking it n next day morning have it by removing its outer layer,it's recommended for in certain specific health conditions only.
