A lump between my ear and neck
Hey I have noticed a lump (lymph nodes swollen) between my ear and neck. It's not really big but I can feel the lump when I touch it. I only noticed it three days ago. I think it wasn't there before . I took a CBC test 2 weeks ago (not for this, I only noticed this 3 days ago) . So my total leukocyte count 2 weeks ago was 9500 cells /cu mm and heamoglobin was 14.0 gm% and platelet count is 3.05 lakhs I guess all these are normal also my rbc count is 5.53 millions. I don't have any other symptoms and I feel normal, but this lump is making me worry, should I see a doctor? Or is it nothing to be worried about?

Hi, is it only on one side or both sides. You could check with a dentist for any cavities, or It could be due to transient infection of the oral cavity/ tonsils which will settle on its own. If it's persistent you will need a course of antibiotics and if still it's not settling you will need an examination of the node through an fnac procedure ( where some sample is taken through a needle ) or an excision.
Next Steps
Do follow up if it's persistently there
