Constantly poking lymph nodes
I am a hypochondriac person I have one question do constantly poking my lymph nodes and pressing them hard make lymph nodes swollen I constantly check my lymph nodes every day "10-15" times a day. Is it harmful to constantly check my lymph nodes every day every hour with pressure .

Yes, do not unnecessary press the lymph nodes. They are the organs which filter the infections from the body. These infection causing organisms will be stored in a dormant form in the lymph nodes so pressing it unnecessary is not a good thing. Secondly, examining oneself 10-15 times is alarming, it can be OCD with hypochrondria which requires medications. Kindly Consult a near by physician/ Psychiatrist for appropriate management.
