Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for moneyWait time
We visited Sr Eye Surgeon Dr Radhi Malar Anand between June 17,2025-July 3 2025 for cataract examination for my father Ramesh Chandra Bhatt(~70 years) age. Dr and her assistant Rama examined the condition and recommended to go for cataract procedure as left eye had 80% cataract build up and right eye has 40%
The procedure went smoothly. My father felt at ease throughout the surgery. The surgical team was professional, and the doctor was reassuring and explained everything clearly
My fathers vision has improved dramatically, and the colors are vibrant again. We highly recommend MGM Malar Hospital, Adyar and Eye Surgeon Dr Radhi for their excellent care, empathy, right guidance, regular follow ups and end to end ownership including insurance process
Dr Radhi recommended Mono-focal lenses for my father considering that he is aged and logically explained how at this age Mono focal lenses will suit him.
The entire process, from diagnosis to post-operative care, was top-notch. We appreciate the clear explanations and detailed instructions provided by the medical staff.
The doctor's assistant, Rama is incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire cataract surgery journey which involves check up deploying eye drops and post operative care.
The doctor's assistant was patient and took the time to answer all questions, calming nerves and making the patient feel comfortable and confident before and after the surgery.
Dr Radhi and her team provided excellent care, was always ready to help and provided clear explanations about the recovery process and medication, making the entire experience smoother and less stressful.
The cataract surgery was a success. We are grateful to Dr Radhi and her team for restoring vision and improving quality of life of my father
Visited Dr. Rajkumar Kulasekaran (Pulmonologist) For Chest Disease TreatmentCOPDPneumonia Treatment
Happy with: Explanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
I am T.K.Lakshmikantan ,90 year old. I had 2 bypass heart surgeries and had COPD for past 13 years.
I have consulted Dr. RAJKUMAR from day 1 and have never met such a dedicated doctor. He is so systematic, thorough. He has great medical knowledge and expertise. I have been hospitalised quite a few times, with pneumonia for bronchoscopy, acute chest congestion. Everytime Dr. Rajkumar attended me promptly with so much of care, affection. He visited everyday even on holidays to ensure my path to recovery. He is such a great listener of patients complaints. He always make sure he addresses all my fears, inhibitions. He cleared all my doubts about every procedure, treatment. When i was depressed during long hospital stays,he consoled me like a son. I admire his calm and composed approach despite his very busy schedule especially during Covid days.
After 18 days of hospitalisation, I am back home to celebrate my 90 th birthday on Diwali. I owe this to him and his team whose professional and friendly care, is surely an epitome for great medical service to super citizens like me.
I pray God to grant him more National and International accolades and awards as such rare gems are hard to find these days.

Hoped for better: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
I'm not satisfied for visting this doctor for below reasons:
1- Doctor not speak like friendly, ** ****** **** * *** *****2- He didn't explain anything clearly just checked formally.
3- I went for nose problem he just checked with light and told me to take CT scan without inform anything. I went and take CT Scan for 4.5K.
4- After check with doctor he said there is a bone bend problem in nose so i need to admit one day in hospital for Laser surgery.
5- Till now I didn't get any clarification about my problem and what treatment he going to give me after I admit there
6- I asked for the cost when I admit in Fortis Hospital he didn't clarify the money how much iy comes. Without know anything How can I ready the money ??? He simply said if you have insurance we will claim that's it.
7- Doctor need to improve friendly discussion with patients. Then only we have share our problems to him freely.
8- Totally Today I wsate my Time and Money.
9- In Practo the fees shows 500/-. But they charged 700/- for consulting fee

Visited Dr. Pradeep Gopinath Nayar (Cardiologist) For Pacemaker Implantation
I am deeply indebted to Dr. Pradeep Nayar. He saved my father's life. Dad, age 85 was in terrible condition when i took him to fortis emergency dept. He was having severe breathlessness, high blood pressure and pulse dropping to a count of 40. The good doctors team stabilized him in ICU and drained fluids from his lungs. Dr then implanted a pacemaker into him after COVID tests came negative and took good care of him. I also wish to thank his team (Dr. Abdul & others) as well for being very supportive. What i really like about the Dr. is how readily available he was on the phone thru whatsapp even though he had a busy schedule. Post operation and discharge my dad went thru various ups and downs with diarrhea, constipation, rapid breathing, weakness, fatigue etc. and i reached out to the Dr innumerable times. Every step of the way he gave me guidance on what needs to be done - tests, medications and consultations with lung specialist etc. He even helped me with sticky admin issues i had with getting the soft copy of a CT report when the hospital staff was not being helpful. I sincerely appreciate all that he has done for my dad who has since stabilized and able to manage day to day now. I thank him sincerely from my heart and am glad to have approached him for my father's serious medical condition. Above all, he is a good human being and i will recommend him to anyone.
