Dr Akshita makes me comfortable enough to talk about any topic, thought or concern that comes to my mind during the course of our sessions.
She has been the cornerstone of my recovery from anxiety and depression , which I was grappling with for 2 years , before I met her.
Her methods are subtle but highly effective. An out and out professional , who knows to listen and nudge in the right direction.
I have made simple behavioral changes on her advise, which has made me a less anxious person today.
Therapy in India is still not very extensively sought, although awareness is now growing.
I would recommend anyone facing mental issues to give therapy a try and see for yourself the difference it can make. And even more so if you are able to do it with a doctor as good as Dr.Akshita.
I have encouraged my children who are in their teens to also consult with her. In today's environment of toxic social media and peer pressure, kids too need all the guidance they can get at the right time.

I visited Vikram hospital for my wife's pregnancy. Initially we were consulting a different doctor (diff hospital) but my wife had some complications. One of our relatives suggested Gynecologist/Obstetrician Dr.N Venkatesh at Vikram for such a complicated/High risk pregnancy. Dr.Venkatesh is the Head of Gynecology at Vikram and is definitely one of the best doctors I've come across. His enormous experience and expertise can be seen in his approach/attitude towards handling complex situation like ours. He takes time in understanding the situation/s, explains them clearly to us. His words are very assuring, relieving us of the stress we undergo. Dr Venkatesh is one of the very few doctors who is very Ethical(never suggested unwanted scans/tests unless required as compared to the prior doctor we consulted). He is always available for queries, can be reached on phone 24/7. Dr.Venkatesh also has a very good team Gynecologists who takes care of us round the clock. We still have a long way to go until delivery but I am sure we are at safe hands for the rest of the pregnancy term. I would definitely recommend Dr N.Venkatesh for Gynecology/Obstetrics consultation.
Visited Dr. Chirag Thonse (Orthopedic surgeon) For Knee Surgery
Hoped for better: Wait timeValue for moneyTreatment satisfactionExplanation of the health issue
We had a very bad experience with this doctor. We choose this doctor because of a lot of positive reviews.
My mother's right knee was displaced and her leg wasn't straight she used to hobble but she did not experience any pain.
The doctor suggested knee replacement surgery and we went ahead with it as he assured us that
this is a common operation and within a couple of weeks, my mother could walk normally.
He didn't caution us at all about any potential failures *** ******* ******* ***** *** **** *********** ****** *** *** **** *** ****** Even after 4 months my mother's leg still isn't straight
and she still hobbles. The bad part is that she experiences slight pain when she walks but at night the pain
becomes so unbearable that she has to take a pain killer.
The doctor tried to place plaster twice (one week each) post surgery but the moment the plasters are removed
the leg goes back to the same position. ***** ****** ******* ** *** ******** ** ** *** **** ** ********** The bad part is he also placed the
blame on my mother once stating that the patient is not co-operating and the problem is in her mental
state and asked us to get counseling.
There is no sympathy from the doctor's side.**** ********* *** ************** **** ** **** **** * **** ****** ** *** *** ** ******** ********* **** **** ****
At present we are consulting another doctor and we are seeing improvements.
Although the leg still isn't straight at least the pain has reduced a lot and there is no need to take painkillers.
We really regret getting this surgery done. We would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

I was having trouble with anxiety/panic attack and I was taking Lonazep 0.5 tablet for almost 5 years. I tried many ways to stop the tablet, but withdrawal symptoms were huge, like lack of concentration, insomnia etc. I approached Ms. Akshita and I had 5 sessions and she really helped me quit the tablet and how to overcome anxiety. She is a very kind person and every session was very informative and learnt something new out of it. Now I am not dependent on any tablet and stress free. Thank you so much for your help.
