Sakra World Hospital, Bellandur

We have been consulting with Dr. Narender from the Department of Plastic Surgery at Sakra Hospital, Bellandur for our young daughter, who is being treated for a facial scar. She had a fall while playing and suffered an injury that required stitches. Unfortunately, the initial treatment at a hospital in a tier-2 city left her with uneven and large stitches that could have caused a prominent scar.

We were referred to Dr. Narender by our pediatrician, and we are truly grateful for that. From our first visit, he was exceptionally gentle and patient. After her traumatic experience, our daughter had developed a deep fear of doctors and hospitals, but Dr. Narender’s calm demeanor, kind words, and reassuring approach made all the difference.

She had to undergo surgery as part of her treatment, and the doctor took the time to explain each step and the reasons behind it in detail, which gave us great comfort and confidence.

Today, our daughter is healing beautifully and has regained her cheerful self. We are deeply thankful to Dr. Narender for his expertise, compassion, and support — we will always remain grateful to him for helping our daughter recover both physically and emotionally.

I visited the hospital seeking a second opinion, feeling anxious and unsure about the next steps. From the very first consultation, I felt a sense of relief and trust. Everything was explained clearly and honestly, which gave me the confidence to go ahead with the treatment.

I am writing this review with lot of happiness and that's because of Dr. Anil Kumar (Sakra hospital) and the smiles he brought back in our family. :) My kid is 7 years old and he had a swollen lower abdomen and we were informed by a general pediatrician that this could be a case to consult pediatric surgeon. Like any other parents, we were worried and have consulted many periodic surgeons. Our worry, came to an end when we spoke to Dr. Anil Kumar and the assurance he had given us. He had answered all our questions very patiently and explained the surgery and post care in detail. He also went an extra mile in taking care of insurance related queries. The procedure went well and was very well guided by Dr. Anil Kumar from Admission to Discharge. Finally, a big Kudos to Dr. Anil Kumar.

Back in September 2025, I was in a bad accident that left me with severe fractures across my face. I went through emergency neurosurgery first, then plastic surgery, and after that around 5 more follow-up surgeries over the next several months.

Through all of it, Dr. M Narender was honestly amazing. From day one he was patient and supportive, not just with me but with my whole family. My family probably asked him a hundred questions before and after every single surgery, and he never once seemed rushed or annoyed he always took the time to properly explain things.

Before any procedure, he'd walk us through the pros and cons so we actually understood what we were deciding on, instead of just being told what to do. And he was fine with us calling him on his personal number whenever we were worried, at pretty much any hour, and he'd still pick up and talk us through it like it was nothing. Even the hundredth question from my parents got the same patient, careful answer as the first one did.

I wanted this on record because I still don't think I've properly thanked him for everything he did for me and my family.
