Visited doctor to remove underarm axillary tissue. Waited 1 hour even though after takin appointment.

She told I need surgery and told it'll cost 70000-1lakh whereas my sister visited her 2 years back and got the SAME surgery done for ****** ** her. * *** **** ********** **** ** *******

The whole time she was talking only about insurance rather than explaining my problem in detail. Finally she told her student would perform the surgery and not her though she performed it on my sister 2 years ago.

In the month of May 2022, I felt some pain in the abdomen. So consulted you at Apollo Spectra hospital. You explained and conducted all the necessary Tests and prescribed Surgery for Hernia (Both LH and RH). Pre-operation tests were done and operation date fixed for Tuesday 21st June. We all, (my Co volunteer Ramaswamy, his friend and my cousin brother Nirmal) came and met you on the previous day i.e. 20th June.

You explained nicely the procedure to be done for the Laparoscopic surgery, like small holes, then inserting the mesh by special tools etc. Also, in case a problem arises, then you will adopt the open surgery. You also talked about the Risk factor, if at all it is there, it is the age, As, such nothing was foreseen. All the other doubts, you clarified. You explained clearly in a soft tone, politely. It gave me assurance & lot of mental strength. Post surgery, your regular follow up like, you personally did the dressing, Removal of stitches, and good Nursing Services, helped me recover fast.

My heartfelt thanks to you Doctor, your entire team, Nursing staff and others. Also, I am highly grateful to Smt. Vasuki. Right from the day one she arranged our appointments, coordinated with other personnel like Anesthetist, Physician and other departments necessary to get the fitness for Surgery. Post operation she did all the Discharge formalities, and Processing of Insurance papers precisely and speedily. Thank you Vasuki. Lord bless.

I retired as Design engineer in Aeronautics from HAL in 1997. Since then, I am serving in Kidwai, Nimhans, Ramiah and Baptist Hospitals as Volunteer/ Counsellor from Banjara Academy (All the services are free).

It is said that doctors are next to god and I realised it when i get to know about Manas Sir.More then a doctor he is a mentor to me in my journey of getting cure from 3 big incisional hernia.

I had started visiting Dr. Manas from Feb-23 for hemorrhoids treatment and he managed it thru medications initially. But eventually I had to undergo the laser surgery. The whole treatment & surgery experience was extremely smooth without any hassles. The doctor explained everything in detail beforehand and made me feel extremely comfortable.However, there were some post-surgery complications for me which wasn't very common. But the kind of support I got from him during that period is extraordinary. I could reach him over the phone anytime of the day and he had been very quick in providing the necessary inputs whenever I reached out. He had been always giving me the necessary confidence during this course of recovery and I felt extremely comfortable all along. The overall experience is very satisfactory. While I wouldn't comment much on his credentials (which is unquestionable), Dr. Manas is a very kind, approachable & empathetic doctor which gave a lot of confidence to me as a patient. Dr. Salim is highly experienced with a calming presence - patient, * ***** ********* cooperative, and open to answer queries.

I visited for severe toothache and headache. In the very first consultation itself he identified multiple issues - jaw alignment, crowding, and all four wisdom teeth being impacted.

In my case, all 4 wisdom teeth were removed at once. Lower two were complex due to (a) horizontal impaction under the gum, (b) crown pressing against adjacent teeth causing pain, and (c) roots close to sinus/nerve causing headaches.

Throughout, he was personally available on call, explained the procedure to me and my family in person and on video call, and consulted a senior Maxillofacial surgeon due to grade IV complexity. Surgery was jointly conducted.

From 2-3 days before the operation through post-op care, everything was handled exceptionally. I was put on correct meds and diet pre-op, checked twice after op before discharge, and monitored for 3 days post-op personally by Dr. Salim.

Despite the complexity, I had no pain or numbness. Highly recommend and can vouch for Dr. Salim.

Ms. Twincy came my way to recommend a diet/supplement(s) plan when I was admitted to Apollo Spectra, Koramangala for a right-knee medial meniscus tear, and the PAC tests revealed abnormalities in my lipid profile. She took pains to understand the gaps in my diet/lifestyle and recommended changes accordingly. The customization she suggested in my diet was to take care of my lipid levels, however, it resulted in food that was not to the levels my taste buds were otherwise accustomed to, therefore, during my time at the hospital, I used to tell her "You don't like me!" 😊 . While it's only been close to 3 weeks since I started following the plan she provided during discharge, positive changes are observed. Having a severe ear block and pain it was suggested to me by her to get the ear wash. I met Dr. Nanda Rajaneesh for my Piles problem which I had from last 6+ years with severe multiple swelling and other few concerns. She was approachable, friendly, and ensured the patient is comfortable. With that I was able to share my concerns freely and was able to express.

Post the discussion, I was suggested to go for the surgery and was informed with detailed surgery method and other necessary info prior surgery. Post which, I underwent the surgery and it was successful. It's been almost a month now, and I am really feeling relieved from my piles problem and feeling healthy fit and fine.
