My wife and I went to Dr. Plabani Sarkar for IVF treatment since Jan’25 in Rainbow Children Hospital at Marathalli. In Jan26, we suffered miscarriage in the 10th month of conception. Upon analysing the entire episode, sharing my notes for everyone what we went through:

• Improper Investigation

o There was no 3D-TVS performed by the doctor. 3D-TVS is used in modern clinical practice for detailed surgical planning, evaluating infertility cases, and improving diagnostic accuracy. As a result, a critical & primary cause (Hydrosalpinx) of miscarriage was not detected in the last 1 year of treatment. Additionally, the 3D-TVS revealed that the posterior fibroids indenting endometrial cavity which could have been the secondary cause of miscarriage. I was astonished when we were made aware upon review with another renowned doctor/clinic in Bangalore.******* ** ********** * *********** The doctor carried out multiple surgeries (Cyst Aspiration, Hysteroscopy, Myomectomy) at 3 different times *** ******* ****** *** ****** ****** ******* ** ******** ************* *** ********** ** *** ****** ** *** **. As such, my wife had to go through multiple sessions of General Anaesthesia.

o The scan reports clearly outlined multiple intramural (in walls) fibroids; the doctor performed Hysteroscopic Myomectomy instead of Laproscopic Myomectomy. Laparoscopic Myomectomy is the standard approach for intramural and subserosal (outside) fibroids, or for multiple/large fibroids while Hysteroscopic Myomectomy is done for small to medium-sized submucosal fibroids.

o Day-3 embryo was transferred (in the first transfer) instead of Day-5. Day-5 embryo transfer (blastocyst) is considered standard practice in modern IVF because it offers higher implantation rates, better embryo selection, and lower risks of multiples compared to Day 3 transfer.

o As part of investigation, MRI scans were performed twice with same results ***** *** ************ **** ********* **** ** ***********•****** ************

The co-ordinator would discuss with the doctor prior to providing any estimate.

o Blood tests done at Rainbow Children Hospital at Marathalli are ********* expensive ** ******** ** ************

o While some staff at Rainbow Children Hospital at Marathalli was very helpful, however the co-ordinator (Tabitha) was rude on many occasions. Also, when I asked for some copies of bills for insurance, I had to struggle to visit hospitals many times to fetch them.

o The co-ordinator at Rainbow Children Hospital always insisted for procedures on cash basis instead of insurance.***** ********** ****** *********** ******* ******** *** ********* ****** *** *** I strongly encourage others to thoroughly research and seek second opinions before proceeding with treatment with this doctor or at Rainbow Hospitals.

It was bad luck that our daughter got B-cell ALL(Leukemia or Blood cancer). We had never heard of it previously for 2 year old child. If unfortunately you are reading this feedback then please take a note of below data points which will help you to decide. I do not trust on doctors so easily because of my past experience but she is amazing so giving this feedback so that more and more patients gets benefits.

1. Dr. Vasudha is very polite, explain everything in details and never get irritated by any non relevant questions. She is very intelligent.

2. She love her patients like a mother, She talk to parents like a friend.

3. She is available 24X7 for Chemo patients. You can ask or report any concern any time. She will help aways. Never seen so much helpful nature. Even taking second opinion from outside was not so much helpful to me. Let's not bother her in non working hours. Should be ok in working hours.

4. She is having specialist nurses. All Chemo sisters do their job very well. Please avoid other general nurses and ask for Chemo nurses only. Sheela Sister, Viji Sister and Pallavi Sisters are expert in their area. You will respect them once you see their care. Sometimes I have seen tears in their eyes for some patients. You can think of how dedicated they are.

5. You will not find nurses and doctors like these in any other hospital because She is having Children specialist hospital and staff.

6. She personally call lab technician for giving reports earlier and do not let parents suffer.

7. She always try to help poor patients by sharing medicines. Some injections are very costly and only a small quantity is given to patient. She avoid wastage and ask patients for sharing in case same medicine has to be given to multiple patients. She will take all involved patients consent first. Generally private hospitals and Doctor do not do this to charge more form patients.

8. She has done fellow ship from UK and having good network with other doctors in this area.

9. Women doctors cure children better. Generally we being parent of a child have so much of questions and a bit nervousness about future. You can trust her if planning to admit your child and trust her. Now stop googling and take some deep breath. All will be well.

Thank god for sending her in our world. Please give her everything good she desire and treat all her patients with 100% accuracy.

My daughter was diagnosed as having a Choledochal cyst, for which surgery was the only definitive treatment. Dr. Antony Robert counselled us regarding the procedure that would be done. He also advised us to opt for laparoscopic surgery, as it will be better in terms of recovery and is associated with lesser pain post-operatively. Though the surgery took more than 7 hours, the post-operative period went smoothly. She was allowed to take an oral diet after 5 days. Although the overall stay at the hospital was around 9 days, she recovered well and is asymptomatic at present.

For what is a substantial sincere appreciation should be delivered to Dr rakshay shetty at rainbow hospital marathali. Who has heavily contributed towards th rescuing of my son who is identified by his term as Akkaraju lohit Nanda Mohan. From what I observed and depicted, his excellent attributes include his formal verbal capabilites towards his patients, his straight to the point responses to statements of abnormal difficulty within infants, and most importantly his professionalism towards his patients.
