One person can go to see the patient in ICU during the Visiting Hours and need to wear mask and use santizier availabe at the hospital.

What is the Admission Process?

Planned - Patient visit doctor and then doctor advise admission and date is decided for admission. Patient needs to fulfill TPA process before admission if required. Emergency admission-EMO checks and advice admission if required.

How can I get a discharge summary?

Discharge summary is handed over to patient/relative at the time of discharge.

Can a family member spend a night with the Patient? Will this be at an extra cost?

1 family member is allowed to stay. NO extra cost. ICU - 1 family member in waiting area can stay.

My 11AM appointment was confirmed by the hospital, but when I got there the staff was very rude and told me the doctor is not available until 2 PM. I will never be booking another appointment using the practo app nor will I be visiting the hospital.

Admission Process:

The patient or the caregiver will be asked to fill the admission form accurately and then a unique hospital ID is generated and the patient is admitted to the hospital. The patient should bring documents such as records of past medical history, and insurance cards [if any].

Discharge Process:

The billing is centrally administered by the billing department. It is mandatory for cashless payments to pre-authorize and in the case of emergency, it is handled by the case manager. Before getting the discharge summary, all the outstanding dues have to be finished.
