I first met Dr. Shobha at the Sagar Hospital, Bangalore. Since then I have consulted her on several occasions of which two require special mention. The first was when I had suffered from acute abdominal pain for a few weeks during which period all the doctors I consulted, treated me for acidity and gastritis. Though I was asymptomatic, Dr.Shobha quickly diagnosed it as a case of ruptured appendicitis and called for an emergency surgery saving my life.

The second instance relates to my mother who suffered from intense back aches which was later diagnosed as Multiple Myeloma. She helped us through the preliminary investigations and tapped into her valuable network of specialist doctors to ensure that we got the best medical attention possible. She guided us throughout the treatment period and was available round the clock for consultations. Her tremendous support and compassionate attitude helped us tide over the tough times.

Today Dr. Shobha is my family's 'Go to Doctor' for any medical advise.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shobha Naidu for a few years now - I'm 72 years old and I can easily say that she is one of the best doctors I have ever visited. She is professional, efficient, and listens intently to my concerns. She always takes the time to explain the treatments in detail.

Recently I have diaognised with Hepatocellular carcinoma (Liver Cancer) - Initially I had symptoms such as fever, wheezing and weakness. Though after her initial medication I was fine, she observed infection in my Lab reports

and she continued her medication, still infection hasn't come down She referred to CT Scan followed by PET CT scan

to identify the cause of infection.

We had couple of discussions and with her constant efforts I had undergone surgery @ my 72 and the tumor was completely removed. Its been 4 months now I'm very much normal.

Her approach is not just about treating the symptoms but understanding the root cause.

Because of her I am still alive and I thank her wholeheartedly for saving me!

Subsequently, endoscopic stent insertion procedure was initiated, gallbladder surgery was performed. I am recovering well.Being senior in Defence and post retirement visits to many countries, I had contacted many hospitals and doctors but the benevolence, competence and empathy of Dr Vijay Kumar makes my dictionary go in dearth of words except to frame " Samarth Vaidyo Narayano Hari". His kind handling of patients make young patients to bow down and old patients to bless.

My Heartfelt Thanks to Jhoshna Madam ENT at Sagar Hospitals, JayanagarThis is one of the most memorable experiences of my life.I visited madam at Sagar Hospitals, Jayanagar, when I was completely depressed after suddenly losing hearing in my left ear, along with a continuous beep/buzz sound. I was both physically and mentally disturbed by this condition.Before meeting madam, I had visited another clinic where I was diagnosed with Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss on 11/10/25, with 53.5% hearing loss in my left ear. I was told this condition usually occurs in older people, and was prescribed oral steroids — but my condition worsened after two days.On 13/10/25 evening, I visited Sagar Hospitals, Jayanagar. Even though it was almost closing time, madam kindly agreed to see me after understanding my situation. She examined my reports, observed my condition, and immediately suggested intratympanic (inner ear) steroid injections, explaining that they are most effective if given within 48 hours of hearing loss.Although I had already crossed that period, madam gave me immense moral strength and explained with real examples how recovery is possible even after 10 days. Her confidence and compassion gave me hope when I had lost it completely. Doctor was rude and impatient. Refused to listen and do a consultation based on preventive health checkup. She was focused on what problems do you have and kept saying that 50-60 yrs old patients need treatment. ********** ************** *** ********* ******* Would recommend to see any other doctor than her. Even the consultation fee was higher (700 Rs) ******** ** ****** ********* ** *** ******** **** *** * The hospital additionally charged a registration fee (Rs 150). I took my mother for her three years long Gastritis problem, Dr Poornachandra could examine and explain the cause in no time, my mother is feeling better now. Every Patient wants the doctor to listen to his/her health issues first, Dr Poornachandra is an Excellent Doctor, who listens to the patient problems and guides in a very friendly way. Very experienced *** ************* doctor. The only problem we faced , two times we visited Sagar hospital Jayanagar and both the time we had to wait for minimum one hour at the hospital to meet the doctor in spite of having an appointment. It's difficult for aged people to wait for such a long duration.

Dr. Manjula Gaekwad is treating my mother for endometrial cancer and she has always come across as very sensitive and empathetic. She puts her patient's comfort and concerns first. She took us into confidence by giving clear picture of the situation and the detailed treatment plan. The doctor has helped us to avoid many visits in the initial diagnostic phase by providing support on phone!

She did a radical hysterectomy last week and took care to make it painless for my mother given her old age. My mother is already healing very well and we completely trust Dr. Manjula to cure her of cancer.

Having known her for very long, i have seen with my own eyes, her commitment to patient welfare and have entrusted her with the lives of my family. i have seen her bringing my mother from close to death to near normal health multiple times. If you judge a person based on how they behave or their mannerisms, then you are the loser. In her case, you will miss out on a very knowledgeable, empathetic, committed doctor.
