I recommend Dr. Mahendra at Westpoint Hospital with all my heart, utmost respect, and faith. My father had been suffering from a neurological issue for years, and there was a point where we genuinely thought he would gradually lose his ability to walk. We went from one hospital to another, and every single place gave us a different diagnosis. Honestly, the four years we went through as a family were some of the hardest of our lives, not just financially but mentally; we were completely drained, always living in fear of what the next test would say.

We had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Mahendra M, MS, M.Ch (Neuro Surgery), who also holds a prestigious fellowship in Neuro Endoscopy from Germany. Dr. Mahendra is one of the most skilled and compassionate neurosurgeons in Bangalore, and his approach to patient care is both thorough and empathetic. My father-in-law, Mr. CH Hanumantha Rao, a 68-year-old male, was admitted with complex neuro-related issues and was under Dr. Mahendra’s expert supervision. He clearly explained the diagnosis and the need for a right-sided Ventriculo-peritoneal shunt, which was successfully performed on 29th July 2025 under general anesthesia, with shunt pressure set at 90mm. The procedure was conducted with precision, and the post-operative phase was smooth with no fresh neurological deficits. He was carefully managed with antiepileptic and neuroprotective medications, and his post-operative fever was promptly treated with antipyretics. Dr. Mahendra’s ability to blend clinical expertise with patient-centric care was instrumental in my father-in-law’s steady recovery. His neurological condition improved significantly, and he was discharged with a structured neurorehabilitation plan. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Mahendra’s timely intervention, meticulous care, and follow-up support.

I had a very disturbing experience at Altius Hospital. I was admitted after a diagnosis showed a 4.5 mm stone in my left ureter. I was referred to Dr. Sarat Chandra Dash, who told me that I needed a minor laser surgery. He assured me that the procedure was simple and safe, but at the same time he ******** ********* ** ** undergo surgery immediately, saying that my left kidney could be damaged because it was not functioning properly due to the stone.
