Visited Dr. K P Srihari Das (Interventional Cardiologist) For Heart ConditionsHypertension Treatment
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
Since June 2021, I have been feeling constant heaviness/pressure in my left chest. Before meeting Dr KP Srihari in Sept 2022, I had met other Cardiologists, and had got all the tests done such as Lipid profile, Echo, TMT etc. As per my Lipid profile report, I had high Triglycerides and low HDL. Also, my Echo indicated mild concentric LVH in my heart. As per doctor, LVH was because of high BP, and hence I was put on BP medicine(Olmezest 20mg, Proloment 12.5 XL). I was also prescribed Rozuvas F5 to treat my high triglycerides and low HDL. The BP medicine helped in bringing my BP from 150/100 to 120/80 and even lower. Also, my triglycerides went down from 350-400 to 100-110 in a few months of taking the medicine. However, the constant and irritating chest heaviness stayed as before. So, finally, I went through Coronary Angiogram also in Mar 2022, to rule out any blockage in my blood vessels; the report was negative. I also went through Gastro Endoscopy to find out if gas was causing the chest heaviness, but it was not the case either. The endoscopy indicated H Pylori infection my stomach, and I took treatment to clear the infection, but my chest heaviness was still there.
So I decided to change my Cardiologist; and based on one of my friend's recommendation, met Dr KP Srihari in Sep 2022. He went through my complete medical history very patiently and explained me the treatment plan. He got some basic tests such as Echo, TMT and Lipid profile done for me and told me not to worry about the chest heaviness. He advised me to continue with the BP and Triglyceride medication, and to have an active and healthy lifestyle that includes daily exercise and yoga. Overall, I found the Doctor very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained me my condition without sugarcoating any fact, but at the same time ensured that I had a proper plan to help myself. During my multiple interactions with the Doctor, I always felt he was genuinely interested in improving patients health condition, and nothing else. I would highly recommend him to anyone having any heart related ailment(s).
Visited Dr. Nischith D S (Joint Replacement Surgeon)
I recently had the opportunity to undergo treatment at Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar, and I must say my entire experience – right from the Emergency admission till my discharge – was nothing short of exceptional.
First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Nischith, Orthopedic Surgeon. His expertise, calm approach, and thorough explanation of every step in the process gave me immense confidence and reassurance. From the initial consultation to the surgical procedure and post-operative care, Dr. Nischith’s professionalism and genuine concern for my well-being stood out. He not only ensured that the surgery was successful but also made sure I was comfortable and fully informed throughout.
I would also like to specially thank Mr. Vishnu, the coordinator, who was a true guiding hand during this journey. Right from admission procedures, guiding my family, arranging consultations, and coordinating between different departments – he made the entire process seamless and stress-free. His patience, timely updates, and availability whenever we had doubts or needed clarity truly made a huge difference.
The overall experience at Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar was outstanding. The Emergency team was prompt and efficient, ensuring immediate attention was given without delay. The nursing staff and support teams were compassionate, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Every small detail – be it in communication, treatment protocols, or discharge formalities – was handled with precision and care.
What impressed me the most was the way the hospital ensures a complete hand-holding experience. As a patient, you never feel lost or confused – at every stage, there is someone to guide you, comfort you, and explain what’s next. That level of coordinated care made the entire treatment journey smooth and stress-free for me and my family.
I am leaving the hospital not just with good health but also with deep gratitude. I would strongly recommend Dr. Nischith, Coordinator Vishnu Kesavan, and Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar to anyone who is looking for top-quality medical care combined with compassion, transparency, and professionalism.
A big thank you to the entire team for being with me every step of the way and making this a truly positive experience.

I visited Dr. Naga subramaniam, he is **** ** ***** * very good doctor, a good listner, good adviser, and very humane, and doesn't scare the patients. I had a very soothing experience in his way of explaining the problem and the treatment options etc.
I consulted him for grade four prostatomegali . He suggested TURP and I underwent the surgery. The post operative treatment and patient care etc. were very excellent, specially pain management was very efficiently done.
Next biopsy of prostate chips indicated malignancy. The same doctor very assuring in advising there is nothing to get worried and the the android deprivation therapy is the option . He further said medical option and surgical option (castration or orchioctomy). I preferred castration and the surgical procedure lasted for 45 minutes and done by Dr. Naga Subramaniam himself personally. Again, post operative care was excellent. His concern for his patients is commendable *** * **** ** ** *** **** * Now I am under his treatment and monitoring, taking supportive medicines.

Unsatisfactory Experience with Dr. R. Manjunath at Dr. Malathi Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received during my recent visit to Dr. Malathi Manipal Hospital, Jayanagar—specifically under the care of Dr. R. Manjunath (Internal Medicine – General Physician).
As a patient seeking professional and compassionate medical care, I felt extremely disappointed by the lack of empathy, **** ************** and overall inattentive approach during the consultation. Rather than feeling supported and understood, I left the hospital feeling unheard and disrespected.

I am sharing this feedback in the hope that the hospital administration will take it seriously and ensure such experiences are not repeated for other patients. A hospital visit should be a place of healing**** ********** *** ********* *************

Visited Dr. Vishal Lahoti (Endocrinologist)
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueValue for moneyTreatment satisfaction
I never expected that I would become a diabetes patient, especially since there is no family history. Suddenly, I started experiencing body itching, weight loss, and changes in urine color. When I visited a healthcare kiosk for a check-up, I was shocked to see my sugar levels. My FBS and PPBS readings were above 300, and my HbA1c was 11.5. This made me extremely nervous, as I couldn’t understand how the numbers had risen so suddenly.
I then consulted Dr. Vishal, and with his guidance and medication—initially at a higher dose and gradually reduced to a minimal dose—my sugar levels came under good control within a few months and are now on the path to reversal. I am truly grateful to Dr. Vishal. He is very kind, takes time to discuss issues in depth, and genuinely understands his patients’ concerns.
** **** *** ********* ************* **** ***** ** ********* ********** ******** he focuses first on recommending the right diet plan and a healthy lifestyle. He is not only a good human being but also very calm and highly experienced in endocrinology.
Today, my sugar levels, cholesterol, HbA1c, and triglycerides are all well within control. A big thank you to Dr. Vishal for his support and care.
Visited Dr. Mala Murlidhar (PhD) (Counselling Psychologist)
Happy with: Treatment satisfaction
I have been suffering from severe anxiety, throbbing headaches ,gut issues ,giddiness and osteoporosis diagnosis a year ago added to my insecurities about my future health.
I have consulted a few therapists earlier and most of them just offered suggestions without making any attempt to diagnose the root cause, showed no empathy, were directionless on course of therapy. One therapist Charged a hefty fee only to suggest that I should read CBT book and heal myself.
I was hesitant to see any new therapist as it is painful to bare one's soul to strangers and be judged.I was desperate to get better, overcome my anxieties and lead a normal life.l took an appointment with Dr.Mala Muralidhar a few months back and discussed threadbare my problems with her.she gave me a patient hearing and gave exercises in steps to detail my childhood experiences as she felt that my present condition could be a result of suppressed emotions, hurt, lack of emotional support.
These exercises to recollect my childhood memories and relationships unleashed the suppressed hurt, emotional turmoil I have been living with. I was sexually abused by a relative as a 7year old and couldn't process what happened to me physically and emotionally and couldn't share the incident with my parents. I realized this when I grew up and situation at home was not conducive to discuss this incident.
I felt abandoned, ignored and shamed and that my fears and emotional upheaval were not addressed ,this emotional distress I have carried in my heart and soul for decades.
Dr.Mala has explained the working of Psycho-dynamic therapy in the healing process and I am getting to understand myself and my life better. I already feel a lot better and hope to be a stronger person and heal completely. It is a long journey to mental recovery and with Dr.Mala's guidance,I hope to be in a better place in terms of emotional health in times to come.

I visited Dr. Mala Muralidharan today and today's first session was really really helpful for me to understand about me, my strengths and areas of improvement, to some extent. As sessions continues I will be knowing more about me. It was really an eye opener for me. Brought some confidence that someone is out there to listen and help me out. Thank you doctor for being a great listener, being empathetic, helpful and friendly and giving expert advice. I highly recommend Dr. Mala Muralidharan to everyone.Thank you.
Visited Dr. V. Krishnan (Pediatrician) For Paediatrics - Chest
Never keep the first option as dr is friendly everyone maynot be friendly....infact Dr kishnan sir was friendly with my kid.
He listened the complete medial history checked my daughter and prescribed medicine.
Some will be friendly they behave as like our friends. Friendliness is not the point to judge a doctor. I request practo to keep that option as last. Detailed check up and findings should be the first point. Proper diagnosis is always important. We are not going for a friendly chat with the doctor.
